After recognizing the lack of female representation in the current government, we wanted to remedy this problem through hands-on workshops and mentorship programs that allow young girls to gain experience and confidence. 

 

GirlsLead Co. (formerly GirlsLead KC) was founded in 2021 as a student-run nonprofit organization that aims to promote and encourage girls to take on positions of leadership and government. Our mission is to inspire, empower, and support girls in their journeys towards becoming confident leaders. We believe that every girl has the potential to be a leader, and we are committed to providing them with the tools and resources they need to succeed.
